A full sexual-health panel,
processed in our UAE molecular lab.
Most sexually transmitted infections show no symptoms in their first weeks — yet untreated they can cause infertility, organ damage and onward transmission. Our standard panel combines PCR for active infection with serology for immune response, so you get a complete picture in a single visit.
Nine pathogens, two methodologies
Each pathogen is tested with the methodology best suited to its biology — PCR for nucleic-acid detection of active infection, serology for antibody evidence of past or chronic exposure.
| Pathogen | Method | Window period | Clinical note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chlamydia trachomatis | PCR (urine / swab) | 1–2 weeks | Often asymptomatic; leading cause of pelvic inflammatory disease and tubal infertility. |
| Neisseria gonorrhoeae | PCR (urine / swab) | 1–2 weeks | Tested at urogenital, oral and rectal sites depending on exposure history. |
| Syphilis (Treponema pallidum) | Serology — TPHA + RPR | 3–6 weeks | Reflex titre when positive to distinguish active from past infection. |
| HIV 1 & 2 | 4th-gen Ag/Ab combo immunoassay | 2–6 weeks | Detects p24 antigen and antibodies; PCR confirmation available on request. |
| Herpes simplex (HSV-1 / HSV-2) | PCR on active lesions; type-specific serology | Lesion: same day; serology: 3–6 weeks | Type-specific results to distinguish oral vs genital strains. |
| Hepatitis B | HBsAg, anti-HBs, anti-HBc; HBV DNA on request | 4–10 weeks | Vaccination status reviewed; quantitative viral load available. |
| Hepatitis C | Anti-HCV + reflex HCV RNA PCR | 4–10 weeks | Modern direct-acting antivirals offer >95% cure rates when detected early. |
| Trichomonas vaginalis | PCR (urine / vaginal swab) | 1–2 weeks | Common, frequently missed by microscopy; PCR is the most sensitive method. |
| Mycoplasma genitalium | PCR (urine / swab) | 1–2 weeks | Emerging cause of urethritis and cervicitis; resistance testing available. |
Window period = time after exposure when the test reliably detects infection. Earlier testing is still useful for baseline and may be repeated.
Choose the depth you need
The core panel — covers the four most common notifiable STIs.
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhea
- HIV
- Syphilis
Recommended for new relationships and routine annual screening.
- Essential 4
- Hepatitis B & C
- Herpes type-specific serology
Full molecular workup including HPV genotyping at one anatomical site.
- Comprehensive 7
- Trichomonas + Mycoplasma genitalium
- HPV genotyping
Two collection paths, both validated
Choose what fits — a 20-minute in-clinic appointment with a trained sampler, or a discreet at-home kit returned by our courier. The same molecular assays run on both sample types.
- · Urine, blood, urogenital, oral or rectal swabs depending on panel
- · Anonymous barcoded tubes — no name on the sample
- · Same-day courier across Sharjah, Dubai and the Northern Emirates
You are the only recipient
Results are delivered through an encrypted link only you can open. Nothing is shared with insurers, employers or third parties unless you specifically request it.
If a result is positive, a clinician on our team will call you to explain, start treatment where appropriate, and arrange referral — discreetly and without judgement.
